  • St. Paul Farmers Market
    For the past 150 years, the St. Paul Farmers Market, operated by the St. Paul Growers’ Association, has supplied the community with fresh, locally-grown produce direct from producer to consumer. Also available are bakery goods, cheese, poultry, buffalo, venison, beef, pork, lamb, maple syrup, eggs, local honey, organic plants, shrubs, flowers, and much more! Located on the block of 5th and Wall Street, the highly-anticipated farmers market opens for the season on the last Saturday in April each year.
  • Music in Mears
    Music in Mears is downtown St. Paul’s gift to music lovers. Founded in 2004, the summer concert series provides free live music in Lowertown’s Mears Park every Thursday night from the beginning of June through the end of August. The weekly gatherings conveniently start at 6:30 p.m. each night, and often feature multiple food trucks as well as craft beer provided by local vendors.
  • Saint Paul Art Crawl
    Presented each spring and fall by the St. Paul Art Collective, the Saint Paul Art Crawl is one of the city’s most beloved events. The incredible three-day exhibition features works by hundreds of local artists and spans across all corners of the city, with the largest concentration of galleries in Lowertown.
  • Lowertown Reading Jam
    The Lowertown Reading Jam is a monthly literary series held at Black Dog Cafe. Sponsored by the Saint Paul Almanac, the series celebrates the rich literary history of Minnesota’s capital city. Each session features a different theme and curator; performances are free of charge and open to community members of all ages.
